Why fiberglass
Smooth shell, short install
Fiberglass is built in a factory, so most of the work is done before it reaches your yard.
Short install
The shell arrives finished. Install time is mostly dig, set and deck.
Smooth to the touch
Gelcoat is smooth on hands and feet. No rough plaster.
Less algae
The non-porous surface gives algae less to hold onto, so it takes fewer chemicals.
No replastering
There’s no plaster to redo every 10 to 15 years.
Built-in features
Steps, benches and tanning ledges are molded into the shell.
Holds up to clay
The flexible shell handles North Texas soil movement well when installed right.

Is fiberglass right for you?
The honest answer
Fiberglass is a good fit if
- ✓You want to be swimming sooner
- ✓You want the lowest upkeep
- ✓You like a smooth surface underfoot
- ✓A standard shape works for your yard

Common questions
Fiberglass questions
Usually much less time than gunite, since the shell is built before it arrives. Permits, access and delivery date set the exact timeline, and your quote includes it.
Shells come in set shapes and sizes. Width is limited by what can be trucked, so very large pools are usually gunite. We bring options to the walkthrough.
A well-installed shell rarely cracks. Most problems come from poor base prep or backfill, which is why we level and backfill the shell carefully.
